Fiserv has announced the appointment of Amit Nikharge as Director - Cybersecurity, strengthening its global cybersecurity leadership as it advances secure, resilient digital payment ecosystems. In this role, Amit will lead strategic security initiatives and collaborate with global stakeholders across the payments and financial services landscape.

With nearly two decades of experience across IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations, Amit brings deep expertise in building scalable and compliant technology environments. Prior to joining Fiserv, he served as Senior Vice President - Information Technology Security at IDFC First Bank, where he led enterprise-wide security programs, cloud transformations, data center initiatives, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Amit has also held leadership positions at WNS Global Services, Microsoft, and Happiest Minds Technologies, gaining strong exposure to cloud computing, enterprise security, and large-scale digital transformation. His approach consistently aligns cybersecurity strategy with business outcomes, significantly enhancing organizational resilience and risk posture.
