Walmart Global Tech India has leased over 1.01 lakh square feet of office space at Prestige Tech Cloud in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, reinforcing its expanding technology footprint in the city. According to Propstack, the space has been taken on a five-year lease starting September 1, 2025, with rent payments commencing from March 1, 2026, allowing for a six-month fit-out period.
The lease carries a monthly rental of ₹48.8 lakh, with a 4% annual escalation and a security deposit of approximately ₹3.9 crore. The office space is spread across the ground, seventh, and eighth floors of the building.
This transaction follows Walmart Global Technology Services India’s recent lease of nearly one million square feet from the Prestige Group to establish a large global capability centre in Bengaluru. In a statement, a Walmart spokesperson said the company has adopted a five-day in-office schedule globally, with workplaces designed to enhance collaboration and in-person engagement. The newly leased facility will house the Walmart Contact Center, supporting customer experience services for US customers.
The deal also highlights the rising attractiveness of North Bengaluru’s Devanahalli corridor, located near Kempegowda International Airport. Propstack Co-Founder Raja Seetharaman noted that Walmart’s entry signals growing interest among large occupiers in airport-adjacent locations offering superior infrastructure and long-term scalability.
