Bandhan Life has announced the appointment of Deepankar Sadhukhan as Senior Vice President - Human Resources (Talent and Culture), strengthening the organisation’s leadership as it accelerates its growth journey across India.

With nearly 15 years of HR leadership experience in the BFSI sector, Deepankar brings deep expertise in talent strategy, HR technology, learning transformation, and culture-led leadership. His professional journey spans leading organisations including Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited, IDFC FIRST Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd - Pantaloons, where he played key roles in building scalable people practices.

At Star Union Dai-ichi Life, Deepankar led multiple industry-first initiatives, including the development of AI-enabled HR platforms, enterprise-wide Learning Experience Platform (LXP) ecosystems, progressive people policies, leadership journeys, and competency frameworks. His contributions earned him two Global Innovation Fund recognitions and selection into the prestigious Dai-ichi DINO Global Cohort.
