Manoj Kumar Vijai Appointed as Non-Executive Chairperson of KPMG India Board Leadership

KPMG India has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Vijai as Non-Executive Chairperson of the KPMG in India Board, effective from 1 January 2026 to 30 April 2030. The appointment underscores the firm’s strong leadership continuity and commitment to long-term institutional growth.

With over three decades of professional experience, Manoj Kumar Vijai has held multiple leadership roles within KPMG India. A Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (USA), and Cost & Works Accountant, he brings deep expertise in audit, accounting, financial reporting, and corporate finance compliance across Indian GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP. He is widely recognised for his specialisation in the Banking and Financial Services sector and for building strong industry relationships over the years.

Currently serving as Office Managing Partner – Mumbai, Manoj has played a pivotal role in strengthening governance, driving client excellence, and building high-performing teams. His career spans leadership stints at KPMG, BSR & Co. LLP, and earlier roles across financial services institutions.

KPMG India CEO Yezdi Nagporewalla acknowledged the appointment as a moment of pride, while also expressing appreciation for the outgoing Chairperson Ajay Mehra for his impactful leadership.
