Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has appointed Visionary Leader Karishhma Kumar as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective November 2025. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the company’s digital and IT strategy, enabling business growth, operational excellence, and customer-centric transformation across the enterprise.

Karishhma brings over 20 years of experience as a business-first digital transformation leader, with a proven track record across IT, insurance, automotive, elevators, and FMCG manufacturing. She has led large-scale initiatives spanning IT modernization, enterprise centralization, and process re-engineering, consistently delivering measurable outcomes in cost efficiency, agility, and P&L impact.

Prior to joining Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, Karishhma served as IT Service Line Head – India Hub at Beiersdorf and held senior leadership roles at Otis Elevator Co., where she led digital technology initiatives across India and the APAC manufacturing ecosystem. Earlier, she spent more than a decade with the Tata Motors Group, driving CRM transformation, digital-first insurance platforms, and customer engagement programs.

Known for her ability to bridge strategic vision with execution, Karishhma’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Škoda Auto Volkswagen India’s digital capabilities and accelerate its journey toward a future-ready, data-driven organization.
