Havells India Ltd has appointed Manjit Singh Sethi as President - Cables, strengthening its leadership bench as the company sharpens its focus on scale, efficiency, and long-term growth in the cables and wires segment. With over 35 years of experience in the electrical and power equipment industry, Sethi brings deep expertise across manufacturing excellence, business transformation, and large-scale operations.

In his new role, Sethi will lead the strategic and operational direction of Havells’ cables business, overseeing growth initiatives, capacity expansion, and performance optimisation across the value chain. His appointment aligns with Havells’ broader ambition to reinforce its leadership position in India’s fast-evolving electrical infrastructure market.

Prior to joining Havells India Ltd, Sethi served as Executive Director at KEC International Ltd., where he played a key role in driving business growth and strategic initiatives. Earlier, he spent nearly three decades at ABB India (now Hitachi Energy), holding senior leadership roles including Head of Transformers - India, Business Unit Head - Power Transformers, and Business Unit Head - Distribution Transformers, managing large teams and significant P&L responsibilities across multiple locations.
