Exide Energy Solutions Ltd (EESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Exide Industries Limited, has appointed Pravin Saraf as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 22, 2025. The leadership change follows the resignation of Mandar V Deo and comes alongside Exide Industries’ ₹180 crore equity investment to strengthen EESL’s battery manufacturing operations.

The appointment was recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Board of Directors of Exide Industries Limited, and subsequently approved by the Board of Exide Energy Solutions Limited. The move reflects Exide’s focus on reinforcing leadership as it scales its presence in advanced energy storage and manufacturing.

Pravin Ramchandra Saraf currently serves as Executive Director and Board Member at Exide Industries Limited and was earlier a Non-Executive Director at EESL. He brings extensive leadership experience from senior roles at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, Endurance Technologies, Bosch India, and Bosch, with deep expertise across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, R&D, quality, large-scale projects, and P&L leadership in India and global operations.
