CoreEL Technologies Strengthens Growth Trajectory with $30 Million Funding Boost Startup Stories

Bengaluru-based CoreEL Technologies has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round led by ValueQuest Scale Fund, with continued participation from existing investor 360 ONE Asset. The fresh capital marks a significant milestone in CoreEL’s growth journey as it deepens its role in building advanced, indigenous electronic systems for the aerospace and defence sector.

The funding follows CoreEL’s recent acquisition of the aerospace and defence systems division of Lekha Wireless, a strategic move that expanded its wireless communication capabilities and strengthened its portfolio in military communications (MILCOM). The acquisition also brought in proven technologies, specialised engineering talent, and valuable intellectual property, enhancing CoreEL’s ability to execute complex defence programmes.

CoreEL plans to deploy the Series B proceeds towards scaling manufacturing capacity, accelerating research and development, and advancing product engineering across radar, avionics, electronic warfare, and communication systems. The company will also use the capital to support participation in large, mission-critical aerospace and defence projects in India and select international markets.

Serving customers such as DRDO, defence public sector units, and the Ministry of Defence, CoreEL’s solutions are already deployed across next-generation avionics, radars, missiles, and electronic warfare platforms. With strong institutional backing and an expanded technology base, CoreEL is well positioned to contribute meaningfully to India’s strategic defence and aerospace ambitions.
