The Telangana State Government has appointed Sarvesh Singh, former senior executive at Novartis, as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of Telangana Life Sciences, reinforcing the State’s leadership ambitions in the global life sciences arena.

With over two decades of global experience, Mr. Singh previously served as Global Head of Strategy and Operations at Novartis, where he worked across clinical development, digital transformation, pharmaceutical innovation, manufacturing, and healthcare data sciences. His professional journey spans major life sciences markets across the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

In his new role, Mr. Singh will spearhead initiatives to further elevate Telangana’s leadership in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, vaccines, med-tech, contract research, AI-driven healthcare solutions, and innovation infrastructure. He will also focus on accelerating investment growth and strengthening global industry and research partnerships, according to an official government statement.

The appointment underscores Telangana’s continued push to position itself as a global hub for life sciences innovation and advanced healthcare solutions.
