HSBC has announced the appointment of Udita Agarwal as Senior Vice President - People Business Consultant, marking a key progression in her extensive journey within the bank’s talent and leadership ecosystem. Over the past seven years, Agarwal has played a pivotal role in strengthening HSBC’s people capabilities through her contributions to leadership development, enterprise learning strategy, succession planning, and culture transformation.

In her previous roles as SVP & Head of Talent Development and Vice President - Learning & Talent Development, she helped build future-ready learning architectures and capability programs across major banking portfolios in India. Her experience in Talent Acquisition further enabled her to support the bank’s high-quality hiring needs for critical business functions.

Before joining HSBC, Agarwal held responsibilities at Axis Bank in campus and early talent initiatives and began her professional journey at Atos, gaining foundational exposure to technology-led HR practices.

In her new role, Agarwal will drive enterprise-level people consulting strategies, supporting HSBC’s ongoing transformation and long-term growth agenda.
