Flipkart has announced the appointment of Gunjan Bhartia as Senior Vice President - Business Finance, where he will lead eKart Business Finance across all verticals. In this role, Gunjan will play a critical part in strengthening financial planning, enhancing performance discipline, and driving strategic transformation as Flipkart continues to build a future-ready supply chain for India.

Gunjan brings over 28 years of global finance leadership experience across Asia and the Middle East. He has previously held senior leadership positions at GE and Coupang, where he was instrumental in scaling high-growth technology businesses and managing large, complex transformation programmes within regulated and publicly listed environments. His background spans transformation finance, capital allocation, governance, and operational scale-up.

Commenting on the appointment, Ravi Iyer, Chief Financial Officer, Flipkart, noted that Gunjan’s expertise in transformation-led finance, capital discipline, and governance will significantly strengthen eKart’s financial foundation and support long-term value creation.
