Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust has appointed Biswajit Patnaik as its Chief Commercial & Sales Officer (CCSO), reinforcing its leadership bench with a highly accomplished business leader with over three decades of experience across telecom, infrastructure, and enterprise services.

In his new role, Patnaik will spearhead Altius’ commercial strategy, sales execution, and strategic partnerships, supporting the company’s growth ambitions and long-term value creation in India’s evolving digital infrastructure landscape.

Patnaik previously served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Management Board Member at Indus Towers Ltd, where he played a defining role in scaling the organization into one of the world’s largest telecom infrastructure companies, managing over 200,000 towers and 330,000+ collocations. His distinguished career also includes leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, TVS Group, and Xerox India.

A globally recognized leader, Patnaik’s work has been featured as a Harvard Business School case study, and he has received several industry honors, including India’s Top 30 CMO (2023).
