Saint-Gobain Group in India has appointed Visionary Leader Akash K J as Head of Talent Acquisition, entrusting him with the mandate to build a Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support the group’s long-term growth and workforce transformation agenda. In this role, Akash is spearheading the creation of a unified, future-ready hiring ecosystem, focused on standardized, technology-led recruitment processes that enhance agility, consistency, and candidate experience across Saint-Gobain’s diverse businesses in India.

Akash brings deep institutional knowledge and proven HR leadership, having previously held key roles within the Saint-Gobain ecosystem. Most recently, he served as Head of Human Resources at Saint-Gobain Weber India, along with senior HR leadership positions at Saint-Gobain India Private Limited – Glass Business, where he contributed to large-scale people and capability transformation initiatives.

He began his career with early HR stints at Bajaj Auto Ltd, Spark Minda, and Radisson Blu, building a strong foundation in talent strategy, HR transformation, and organizational development.

With his cross-sector experience and people-first approach, Akash is well-positioned to strengthen Saint-Gobain India’s talent engine.
