Barclays has named Adrish Ghosh as the Head of Barclays Private Bank for India, reinforcing its commitment to expanding in one of its most strategic global markets. With over three decades of experience in financial services, including more than 15 years at Barclays, Ghosh steps into the role with deep expertise in wealth management and client engagement.

Throughout his tenure at Barclays, he has held key leadership positions such as Head of Sales and Head of Wealth Advisory for India. His strong understanding of evolving client needs and market dynamics has played a crucial role in strengthening the bank’s wealth business in the region.

Prior to Barclays, Ghosh held a senior leadership role at IL&FS Financial Services Ltd, adding to his diverse industry experience.

Annabelle Bryde highlighted his proven leadership and client-centric approach, while global leaders including Evonne Tan, Pritash Mathur, and Farzad Billimoria expressed strong support for his appointment.
